Nathan Self was raised in Memphis, Tennessee and rocked the local scene as the frontman for DEADLUCK.  The band included Josh Anders (drums), Brad Cathey (guitar), and Sean Ellis (bass). 

After several years performing around Memphis--including on famed Beale Street, Nathan moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico to earn an MFA in Poetry at New Mexico State University.

After graduating, Nathan moved to Baton Rouge and began performing as Louisiana Guerrilla with Seth Avant on drums.  In 2009, Louisiana Guerrilla toured with Josh Anders on drums.
